“LEARN FROM PHONE”

Mobile Learning is a project where I aim for users to learn from their phone. University students, school students and children can benefit from the mobile learning.

Students are wasting a lot of their time when they use their phone. Why don`t we turn this into opportunity for them to study using their phone?

Problem Statement

  1. Students waste a lot of their time on their mobile phones.
  2. Students showed lack of interests to learn from books.
  3. Students need to have internet access to study or look for resources.

 

Objective

  1. To develop mobile applications for learning and teaching where the students can use on their phone.
  2. To develop mobile applications that encourage learning from mobile phone.
  3. To develop mobile applications that help students to find resources offline.

 

Values 

The core values that being offered are:

  1. The mobile applications are developed by the students. Therefore, the gained the knowledge and skills.
  2. Students able to learn from their phone in a fun manner.
  3. Students can find resources offline.
  4. The mobile applications can be deployed by educators for many subjects.

BRAINCATCH QUIZ

BrainCatch Quiz

BrainCatch Quiz is a mobile app created by our group using Thunkable and we’ve chosen to design it for several reasons. Include three subjects in a quiz to make it easy for users to respond and user-friendly as well. Additionally, through this BrainCatch Quiz application students can save time and create a more effective learning system as well. Through the opportunity provided by our lecturers to develop this application, it helps us to know more about mobile app design as well. Moreover, randomizing is easy to implement and manage. BrainCatch Quiz often allows you to create a question bank, randomize the questions that are shown, and randomize the answers that are displayed. Trying to manage all of this with hard-copy quizzes would be a nightmare. BrainCatch Quiz can be played without an instructor.

MICE MATH

Mice Math

Mice Math is an educational game that is focused on primary schoolers. This app trains kids about mathematics questions for their level. The logo consists of mice and mathematic operations such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. We choose the cute mice for our icon in this app represented by Jerry in the “Tom & Jerry” cartoon. Jerry in that cartoon was so clever when it faced its problem. We use blue, red, yellow and green colors because these colors are attractive to our target user. Most parents nowadays let their kids use the smartphone for useless purposes. For example, play non-educational games, watch Youtube and so on. This will affect their academic progression. Kids also have a mind-set that mathematic is hard to solve. This means they lack practice in this subject. Mice Math aims to helps the user to develop the mentality to see the importance and usefulness of calculation in life. This app also gives beneficial output so that their time is not wasted. Mice Math also an e-platform for the kid to practice their skills in mathematics.

MOBILE AREA

Mobile Area

Mobile Area is a mobile game from “KODULAR APPS” that focus on subject Mobile Computing ( MKN 1063 ) . This game is suitable for students who take Mobile Computing subject. The game is created to help user take quiz and study basic term that exist in Mobile Computing . This game also help user to increase their productivity using their mobile phone. Furthermore, the notes that provided in the mobile apps will help user to do revision anytime, anywhere and anyone. All user will be able to study even their schedule are full.

ARIES FUN GAME

Aries

Nowadays kids are exposed to the internet and could be bad for them. Instead of downloading any games at PlayStore that are not suitable for them, They can download our Aries Fun Games. It is suitable for kids. The objective of our fun games is to have a good concept such have a nice theme and great games strategy. We don’t want the players to get bored easily. Other than that, we want to create a challenging game but exciting at the same time. This game can be played by anyone but specifically made for 3+ to 12 years old as the main objective of this game is to improve users` brains. The fun games such as flip cards, tic tac toe, and tap tap smash are suitable to be played in their age to boost their memory, improve their critical thinking and make them become a fast learner. We create and develop “Flip Card” games to help to improve the user’s or kid’s memory. For “Tic Tac Toe’ we create for users/kids who love challenging games. This objective game is to improve user/kid’s thinking by applying many techniques to solve the problem. Lastly, “Tap tap smash” which is good for improving brain efficiency also can make the kid or any player become a fast learner. This is because this game needs a fast skills to tap the icon. Plus, to make it more fun, we use the icon that people used to hate like viruses, ant, and mosquito.

VISIT TANJUNG MALIM

visit tanjung malim

Tanjung Malim is a town full of interesting places to be visited. But, not many notices that because they thought Tanjung Malim just a small and underdeveloped city. Thus, people only know that Tanjung Malim only famous because have Sultan Idris Education University and the main Proton factory. Our main objective is to make it easier for people to know where to visit if they came to Tanjung Malim. We provide the name, address of the interesting places to visit with pictures as an attraction. We also made this application to help out the owner of the places to increase their income because of the traveler. Our target audience is not only travelers from inside Malaysia, but also from other countries. So, we hope that foreign travelers able to find that Tanjung Malim also got interesting places to be visited.
