Research Portfolio
My research sits at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Explainable AI (XAI), and Digital Transformation in Education. I am particularly focused on making AI transparent and interpretable — developing XAI-powered agents that can empower diverse groups including ageing communities, educators, and learners with special needs.
A significant strand of my work involves Double Auction algorithms for intelligent negotiation and decision-making in cloud computing, healthcare, and higher education finance. This line of inquiry began during my PhD at Universiti Teknologi Petronas and has since expanded into multi-attribute, combinatorial, and continuous auction frameworks published in IEEE Access and multiple SCOPUS-indexed journals.
On the education front, I lead projects on AI competency upskilling for teachers, social media analytics for STEM/TVET student recruitment, and AI-driven personalised learning content delivery. I currently supervise 7 PhD candidates and 9 Master's students, with research collaborations spanning Malaysia, Oman, and beyond.
