With a PhD in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi Petronas and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia, he brings deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Explainable AI (XAI), Machine Learning, and Digital Transformation to his supervision practice.
As a postgraduate supervisor in AI Malaysia, Dr. Hariz has guided students across a wide spectrum of cutting-edge research topics — from federated learning and virtual currency forecasting using machine learning, to AI-driven educational modules and chatbot adoption for gamified learning.
