Dr. Muhamad Hariz Bin Muhamad Adnan is an active postgraduate supervisor at the Faculty of Computing and Meta-Technology, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). With a PhD in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi Petronas and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia, he brings deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Explainable AI (XAI), Machine Learning, and Digital Transformation to his supervision practice.
As a postgraduate supervisor in AI Malaysia , Dr. Hariz has guided students across a wide spectrum of cutting-edge research topics — from federated learning and virtual currency forecasting using machine learning, to AI-driven educational modules and chatbot adoption for gamified learning. His supervision portfolio spans both international and national students, reflecting a globally connected and culturally diverse research environment ideal for aspiring AI researchers.
Currently supervising 7 PhD candidates and 8 Masters students , Dr. Hariz welcomes motivated students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in AI in Malaysia .
