What undergraduate work is collected here

This page gathers final year projects, applied computing coursework and student-built prototypes completed under supervision at UPSI. The themes recur year to year: artificial intelligence applied to a practical problem, educational technology aimed at a specific classroom need, and web or mobile applications built to a brief.

How undergraduate projects are scoped

A workable undergraduate project is narrow, has data that actually exists, and can be demonstrated rather than only described. Most projects that run into trouble do so because the scope was set before anyone checked whether the data could be obtained. Students planning a project are usually better served by starting from an available dataset and working outward.
